This year, on the occasion of Science Day and the start of the International Decade of Science for Sustainable Development (2024-2033), NTU ‘KhPI’ is holding a series of events aimed at supporting research, developing innovative projects and engaging young people in scientific activities. These initiatives cover a wide range of topics – from strategic issues of Ukraine’s European integration to practical classes in a startup school for schoolchildren.
7 November 14:15 The Department of Electrical Machines will hold a round table on topical issues of scientific research, production and student creativity, dedicated to the ‘Day of Science’ on 07 November 2024 at 14:15. The event will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams, by the Head of the Department Andrii Yegorov.

On 9 November , as part of the celebration of Science Day, a SturtUp school for schoolchildren will be opened. Classes at the offline SturtUp school are designed for 2 months, start in November, and will be held in the NTU ‘KhPI’ shelter on weekends. Among the speakers are representatives of leading companies: VUSO Insurance Company, FUIB Bank, Kharkiv IT Cluster, Epicentre, YEP Accelerator, Ukrainian IP Office, and leading lecturers of NTU ‘KhPI’.
On 11 November, 10:30 a.m., the Department of Power Plants will host scientific seminars of the Energy Hub Youth Scientific Association:
- STEM-constructor ‘Photovoltaic system’ for laboratory work and popularisation of electrical engineering. Speakers: Assoc. Prof. Shokariov D. A., Assoc. Ivakhnov A. V.
