Participation in international projects

International projects play a key role in the development of the scientific potential of NTU ‘KhPI’.

Cooperation with foreign partners allows us to gain access to advanced technologies and participate in joint research that addresses pressing global issues. This not only contributes to the generation of new knowledge and publications in authoritative international journals, attracting grant funding, but also strengthens the reputation of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’ as a scientific centre capable of conducting research at the highest level.

The prestige of the university is directly linked to its ability to interact effectively with the global scientific community and successfully implement joint research initiatives.

Today, NTU ‘KhPI’ participates in about 100 educational and scientific projects. Among them, the following should be noted:

🔹NTU ‘KhPI’, as part of an international consortium, won the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme competition, which aims to develop capacity in higher education. The four-year project ‘Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni)’, in which NTU ‘KhPI’ participates, provides for the creation of a highly efficient digital educational ecosystem for distance and inclusive learning. In total, the project partners include twenty-five institutions from Ukraine, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, and Belgium. The project manager is Yevhen SOKOL.

🔹Project under the EURATOM programme (Horizon Europe programme) Andrii MARCHENKO – project manager, Oleksandr Sipatov, Leonid Konotopskyi, Serhii Malykhin;

🔹Project ‘DiTEC: digital twin for evolutionary changes in water supply networks’, project manager – Yuriy Dorofeyev;

🔹NTU ‘KhPI’ became a member of the Danube Region Programme project consortium. The programme is designed for 4 years. Representatives from NTU ‘KhPI’: Ruslan Kryvobok, Mykola Tkachuk, Anton Vasilyev.

🔹Programme of joint Ukrainian-Latvian projects “New progressive methods for designing functionally anisotropic composite materials”, project manager – Gennadiy Lvov;

🔹Programme of joint Ukrainian-Polish projects “Determining the reliability of public information in social media using a text analytics approach”, project manager – Nina Khairova;

🔹NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme ‘Selective quantum sensor for the detection of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear substances in gaseous and liquid environments’, project manager – Oleksandr Pospelov.
