Innovation is a strategic direction for the development of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’. It not only ensures the scientific and technical progress of the university itself, but also contributes to strengthening Ukraine’s innovation potential in the context of global challenges and economic transformations.
Innovations are investments in the future. They form the basis for the country’s technological independence, strengthen the position of domestic industry and create new opportunities for the development of high-tech industries. NTU ‘KPI’ actively develops a culture of patent activity, promotes the commercialisation of scientific developments and the implementation of new solutions in production.
From January to August 2025, NTU ‘KhPI’ submitted:

🔹3 applications for inventions,
🔹4 copyright certificates for intellectual property.
Leading scientific areas for which applications have been submitted:
🔸Hydromechanics;
🔸Mechanical engineering;
🔸Information and measurement technologies for control and diagnostics;
🔸Internal combustion engines;
🔸Active vibration control systems;
🔸Chemical technologies (ceramics, protective coatings);
🔸Oil, gas and solid fuel processing technologies.
