As part of a joint project between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank, our university received the largest amount of funding among higher education institutions in the frontline regions.
Over 900,000 hryvnias have already been allocated for the purchase of modern equipment, including:
🔹charging stations,
🔹Starlink satellite communication terminals,
🔹acoustic systems,
🔹Smart interactive panels.
This is the first stage of large-scale support that will allow NTU ‘KhPI’ to strengthen its infrastructure, ensure the continuity of the educational process, and enhance scientific research in wartime conditions.
The following departments are involved in the implementation of the project:

📌 Scientific and Technical Library,
📌 Economic Department,
📌 Information and Computing Centre,
📌 Departments:
– M.F. Semko Department of Integrated Mechanical Engineering Technologies,
– Department of Electrical Power Transmission,
– Department of Industrial and Biomedical Electronics,
– Materials Science,
– Theory and Systems of Automated Design of Mechanisms and Machines,
– Engines and Hybrid Power Plants, as well as the Scientific, Technological and Educational Centre.
💰The following universities received the most funding:
🔸NTU ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’,
🔸State University of Biotechnology (Kharkiv),
🔸National University ‘Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic’,
🔸Zaporizhzhia National University,
🔸Sumy National Agrarian University.
❗This initiative is complemented by a separate decision of the Government, which, on the instructions of the President of Ukraine, allocated an additional 300 million hryvnias to support universities in Kharkiv, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The project is being implemented as part of the ‘Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results’ programme, which aims to support universities operating in conditions of war and relocation.
